Bikers...

Geoff has almost completed the biker portion of his mural by Market Wharf in St. Andrews. The couple on the motorcycle are the very first couple who registered for Atlanticade. Since the bike festival is taking place in St. Andrews this year, the organizers thought it would be a nice gift for the couple to see their faces (and bike) painted on a mural.

Cedar and Juhl have moved into the space and have been hard at work.

Geoff has been busy putting the finishing touches on his show which opens at Sunbury Shores on Friday July 2, 2010.

Meanwhile, Jan and Andrea are busy preparing new work for the 8th Annual Fundy Artists Art Show & Sale at the Fairmont Algonquin. That show takes place from Wed July 28 to Saturday July 31st - 9am to 9pm daily.

We are very excited to announce that Cedar Sky (Earthforge) and Juhl Sky (Earth Mama Essentials) will be joining us in the studio this summer!

Fresh and new...

Jarea Art Studio has been spruced up, just in time for the 2010 Summer season. We removed the old counter, moved some things around, did a quick painting touch up, built a workbench and added a new display case. We've also added artist Cedar Sky to our roster. We will be open for Victoria Day weekend and sporadically from that point on until the season gets in full swing.

Opening soon...

The studio has come together nicely! We are planning on being open this weekend, just in time for Victoria Day in Canada -- Memorial Day happens the week after in the US.

Art in Montreal

Geoff was part of an art exhibiton in Montreal this past weekend.
The Brush Off is a Juried Art Show at Avenue Art on King Street in Old Montreal.
The Jarea gang made the trek to Quebec. It was loads of fun...
