A cold mist in the evening has been captured in this painting of the iconic lighthouse on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, Canada.

About the artist:
Gerald M. Cloud has an M.Ed. in Art Education from Millersville University (PA). Mr. Cloud has taught students of all ages and backgrounds how to maximize their creativity and artistic potential by implementing Betty Edward's visual/perceptual exercises in "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain." Mr. Cloud has served on the faculties of Millersville University of Pennsylvania, the Delaware County and Harrisburg Area Community Colleges, the Lancaster Museum of Art, the St. Andrews Arts Council/ International Global Studies Program and McCaskey Senior High School (PA) where he was Art Department Chair and inaugurated Advanced Placement Studio Art and International Baccalaureate Art & Design programs. He is currently Instructor of Art at Washington County Community College in Calais, Maine. He was twice the Pennsylvania Department of Education Art Exhibitions Coordinator and Curator of the PDE Permanent Collection of Art, and is a Reader of Advanced Placement Studio Art Portfolios for the College Board / Educational Testing Service (ETS). An award-winning artist, Mr. Cloud's work is found in many public, private and institutional collections, and he has participated in over one hundred solo, group, invitational, juried, and institutional fine art exhibitions. Gerry currently exhibits his work at the Harrison House Gallery in Saint John, NB Canada.
